Vice President of Technology Development
Colorado Spring, CO
As our client’s new V.P of Technology Development, you’ll Initiate and ensure the development of integrated, complimentary, and standardized products across the company’s business units and product lines. You’ll align, develop and coordinate product roadmaps and architectures; drive and shape long-term strategic research and development; network and collaborate with Industry, Government, International, Academic, R&D center/laboratory technology experts/peers; and more.
To qualify, you must have a M.S. in EE/CS and 15+ years’ experience in leading technology product-development and R&D. You must also have previous experience with RF, Digital Signal Processing, firmware, software, and hardware development; be able to communicate challenging technical concepts effectively in a wide range of mediums; influence, lead and direct others and build strong relationships; combine analytical reasoning, creativity, conceptual skills and sound judgment; and be able to easily link business objectives to organizational initiatives and deal with ambiguity and minimal structure. You should be proficient and comfortable with business development, writing proposals and white papers, and speaking in public forums and with customers. The desired candidate will also have a fundamental understanding of the space industry and adjacent markets. U.S citizenship and the ability to secure a U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.
